Nirvana: The Therapeutic Approach provides psychotherapy and mental health services from licensed professionals based in Florida. Information on this website is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Eligibility
Clients must be 18 years or older to independently schedule services unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adolescent services require consent from a parent or legal guardian in accordance with Florida law.
3. Establishing a Therapeutic Relationship
Filling out a contact form or visiting the website does not establish a therapist-client relationship. This relationship begins only after a formal intake process and mutual agreement through signed documentation.
4. Appointments and Cancellations
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments missed without notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
5. Insurance and Billing
We accept insurance from select providers and will assist with verification. Clients are responsible for any amounts not covered by insurance, including co-pays, deductibles, or services rendered outside coverage limits.
6. Electronic Communications
Please note that while we take reasonable steps to protect electronic communications, no system is completely secure. Use discretion when sharing sensitive information online or via email. For maximum security, protected health information (PHI) will only be discussed through HIPAA-compliant platforms when appropriate.
7. HIPAA Compliance
We are fully compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Client records and communications are kept private, secure, and confidential in accordance with federal and Florida laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nirvana: The Therapeutic Approach and its therapists are not liable for decisions made based on information found on this site. Mental health treatment must be individualized and discussed in a clinical context.
